Surfing was never really part of the plan for me—it all started by accident. I got into bodyboarding when I was 12, totally hooked on the thrill of catching waves. For years, I hunted for the perfect bodyboard, trying to chase that feeling. But the right board was always just out of reach.

Then, at 20, a friend of mine happened to be selling his surfboard. I thought, “Why not try something new?” That first day out on a surfboard changed everything. I paddled out, caught my first wave, and right in that moment, I was completely hooked on surfing.
